2. Henry's Poem - I am the Future
Henry Michalak
I am the Future
My brain has been converted into a computer,
I am all knowing; no need for a tutor,
Intelligence so astronomical call it lunar,
I can answer advanced calculus with the precision of a sharp shooter,
The only doctor I will ever need is a trouble shooter,
I am the future,
I'm the average commuter- all electric- I'm no polluter,
We're programmed to follow rules so no more boozers, losers, or even prosecutors,
I'm full of technology- I'm a biocomputer full of pewter and with more than one commutator,
Like Neo from the Matrix, bullets I can outmaneuver,
My pinky alone could power all of Vancouver,
My technology makes me super,
I am the future,
I wish these advancements had come sooner,
I'm such a consumer, lusting after what's newer,
Since the technology is younger I'm somewhat of a cougar,
So disregard the baby boomers, on progression they're like intruders,
Or maybe more of a malignant tumor,
So make way for me, I'm the new ruler,
I am the future.
